Great piece. This definitely resonates as a Millennial. We're such an oddly in-between generation that is the last to remember life before the internet; the last to remember how our parents and grandparents would instill resillience as a value that would also include the full denial of negative experiences - and then upon adolescence and then adulthood, be blamed for having an open-minded outlook and diverse tastes while dealing with protracted war and an explosive financial crisis.

More articles like this need to be written. I daresay we might be the last generation too, that might be able to support the dwindling mental health of Gen Z and the Alpha Gen as they live their lives in a vortex of likes, cyberbullying, and the endlessly mediated comparison culture of 24/7 digital peer pressure.
