We have to think about our personal boundaries before we can do anything about them
There’s no right answer when it comes to setting personal boundaries.
Perhaps the most tragic thing for most people isnthat they have to be pushed to their limits first before knowing what their boundaries are.
But these sorts of experiences can be deeply traumatic.
So how can we prevent adding more trauma into our lives?
Do you even know what your personal boundaries are?
It’s safe and sad to say that most of us will have been tested to the point of being made to feel pain, grief, anger and jealousy…
… and maybe even guilty for having these sorts if emotions and sensations.
Don’t feel guilty. This is normal.
But what if we used those experiences to better understand our limits, and therefore our boundaries?
